The Ráztocký waterfall lies in the lower part of the Ráztocká valley, approximately 60 m away from the place where the Ráztocká valley connects with the Kvačianska valley. The wonderful waterfall surrounding creates atmosphere similar to the one typical of Slovenský raj (Slovak paradise). The easiest way to get to the Poľovnícky waterfall if from the village of Jalovec (app. 4 km), through Bobrovecká Vápenica and the saddle of Lipovec. Then, follow the direction signs that will take you directly to the waterfall. There is also a marked bike path running through the area.

It is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Slovakia. You can get to the waterfall from the Vidová rázcestie (Vidová junction) in the Prosiecka valley. There is a short path leading to the blind valley of Červené piesky, where the waterfall is situated. Dry periods turn the waterfall into a trickle of water, so the best time to see the waterfall in its full beauty is in spring or after heavy rains. You can choose to continue hiking from here. The neighbouring Kvačianska valley, which is known for its wonderful nature, will welcome you with its open arms.
