Malino Brdo ski and bike centre is located only 2 kilometres from Ruzomberok town centre at an altitude ranging from 545 to 1209 meters above sea level in the National Park called the Big Fatra. The gateway to the resort is a beautiful Hrabovska valley with the lake, a zip-line, hotels, restaurants and free parking spaces right next to the cable car station.

In winter season, you can find up to 10.5 km of ski slopes here and enjoy a lot of fun. The longest slope with the length of up to 3.9 km overcomes the height of 698 meters and is one of the longest artificially snowed slopes in Slovakia. In the centre you will find 8 slopes of different level difficulty, so everyone will find something for himself. The slopes are wide enough, thanks to this you can enjoy safe fun with the whole family or friends.

You can take an 8-seat cable car to the resort, which is 1770 meters long and will comfortably take you to Malino Brdo within 10 minutes. From there, you can take a 4-seat cable car to the top of Malino from where you can enjoy wonderful views and ski from the summit to Hrabovska valley on the longest main ski slope. In addition to cable cars, there are two lifts for advanced skiers and 4 lifts for beginner skiers and children.

After a great skiing, you can warm up in Aprés-ski bar or you can enjoy great food right next to the slopes at the Daria cottage. If you want to enjoy great food and peaceful view of the slope, you can visit the restaurant at the Malina hotel, where you can enjoy not only great food but also coffee and dessert on the covered terrace.

If you want to enjoy winter holidays, you can stay at the Malina hotel and enjoy skiing and wellness. You can try the unique atmosphere in the external hot tub next to the burning fireplace with a perfect view of the slope.

For the beginners, there is a ski school and a ski rental, which you can find at the ticket offices at the main station of the cable car. Thanks to professional instructors, you will learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding and feel the joy of winter sports. Thanks to the safe and wide ski slopes the resort is favourite among schools referring to the ski courses.

There are also routes for ski alpinists in the area, and you can enjoy not only the panoramic views from Malino, but you can continue along the ridge to Smrekovica and enjoy fabulous winter landscape of the Big Fatra. Depending on the snow conditions, we also prepare cross-country trails in the resort. One track is right in the centre next to the main slope, and you can find the other track in so called Vlkolinec meadows.

Various events are held in the resort during the winter season. Sports competitions such as the Championship of Pupils in Skiing, Ruzomberok Teddy Bear and the Skialp night challenge are held here. This winter the centre will host a two-day SNOW SHOW with a full-day program and entertainment for everyone.
