Monastery Church of St. Peter of Alcantara is the largest sacral building in Liptov and at the same time a unique Gothic architecture in Slovakia.

The main idea of ​​the freesyle park is to bring new sporting activities - wakeboarding to the most beautiful location in Slovakia, on Liptov and make this sport affordable for the wider public. Part of the park is a training jump for snowboarders and freeskiers in the water.

This ski center is located directly in the town of Liptovský Mikuláš and is well accessible. It is only 2 km to the center of the town from here. There is a ski slope with a length of 700 m available for skiers.

The water slalom resort in Liptovský Mikuláš with four slalom tracks is located on the southern edge of the town next to the Váh river. It is the venue of several important national, international and world competitions in the water slalom.

The outskirts of the town of Liptovský Mikuláš are quietly guarded from the north-eastward by the hill Háj. At this place you can find the commemorative area with a cemetery and the war memorial dedicated to soldiers who were killed particularly in the spring 1945.
