At the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, the forest prefect – Mr. Wisner contributed significantly to the development of the Hrádok settlement, likewise granting town privileges. For this reason, Mr. Wisner is called “father of the town”. The new square, designed by the architect Juraj Císar, also bears deep symbolism. Both mountain vista points are incorporated and shaped in the square. Mt Kriváň is found in the northeast corner and Mt Kráľova Hoľa can be seen in the southeast corner. Below the monuments, there are streams of two rivers flowing and symbolizing the basins of the rivers Belá and Váh, which are joined in the fountain representing the town of Liptovský Hrádok. Mountain monuments are symbolically designed as stone pyramids with artistically designed bronze pikes. Mt Kriváň has a leaning peak and Mt Kráľova Hoľa has a bronzed crown. The stream flowing from beneath Mt Kriváň is made from white stone; the stream flowing from beneath Mt Kráľova Hoľa is made from black stone because they reflect the type and nature of these waters.
