The only accessible old mine workings in Liptov. It is an experience that you will remember for a long time. Go through the places that a person created by hard work for decades with the prospect of obtaining gold, all in a unique atmosphere of lit oil lamp. Every visitor will get a headlamp before entering the mine; special clothing or footwear is not required. You will get directly to the free parking place 200 meters away from the mine.

Skicentrum Žiar-Dolinky
Ski center Žiar Dolinky is located at the foot of the southern hillslopes of the mountain range called the West Tatras, 10 km far from Liptovský Mikuláš. The overall length of the ski slopes is 0,65 km. The center is suitable for the beginners, but also for more demanding skiers.

Kostol Obetovania Pána v Smrečanoch
The Gothic Church of the Presentation of the Lord (in honor of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary) is the oldest building in Smrečany, which foundations were built in 1349. It is a single-nave building with a square sanctuary with crossed massive Roman ribs bridging the building in the east side and with an adjacent sacristy on the north side.

Pamätník a vojenský cintorín Háj Nicovô
The outskirts of the town of Liptovský Mikuláš are quietly guarded from the north-eastward by the hill Háj. At this place you can find the commemorative area with a cemetery and the war memorial dedicated to soldiers who were killed particularly in the spring 1945.
