The Poľovnícky waterfall (Hunter´s waterfall) is a sought-after trip location – especially in summer. It is popular with hikers, cyclists and families with small children. It is situated under the Bobrovecká valley and is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Liptov and a big rock wall, from which it falls. It is interesting to mention that the waterfall is known under several names, so you may know it as the Bobrovecký or Poľovnícky waterfall. It falls from the height of 12 metres and is formed by the Stará voda creek, which creates two whirlpools at the top of the waterfall. The waterfall will leave you spellbound in every season. In winter, however, the sound of falling water dies away and the waterfall changes into a stiff and yet beautiful icefall. The wonderful waterfall surrounding creates atmosphere similar to the one typical of Slovenský raj (Slovak paradise). The easiest way to get to the Poľovnícky waterfall if from the village of Jalovec (app. 4 km), through Bobrovecká Vápenica and the saddle of Lipovec. Then, follow the direction signs that will take you directly to the waterfall. There is also a marked bike path running through the area.

The museum, a permanent exhibition, has been open in new premises since August 2010 - a building next to the Gothic Church of the Sacrifice of the Lord (Catholic Church).

The Gothic Church of the Presentation of the Lord (in honor of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary) is the oldest building in Smrečany, which foundations were built in 1349. It is a single-nave building with a square sanctuary with crossed massive Roman ribs bridging the building in the east side and with an adjacent sacristy on the north side.

Experts classify water mills in the valley Kvačianska dolina among the mountain type of mills. They stand in what is often referred to as a most beautiful Slovak valleys, in the mountain range Chočské vrchy. This is one of the last surviving monuments of its kind and in its natural environment.

The Ráztocký waterfall lies in the lower part of the Ráztocká valley, approximately 60 m away from the place where the Ráztocká valley connects with the Kvačianska valley. The Ráztocká valley is short, but impressive canyon-shaped valley carved through limestone rock. It is the branch of the Kvačianska valley, which offers unforgettable hiking experiences. The waterfall is hidden in a stone gorge and falls from the height of about eight metres. In summer, it is surrounded by rich vegetation. Spring is the time when you can see it in its full beauty and in winter, the waterfall transforms into an ice cascade. You can climb the ladder to get to the top of the waterfall but use caution as the ladder can be slippery. The waterfall is accessible from Veľké Borové. You can choose to continue hiking down the canyon of the Ráztocká valley to the settlement of Jóbova Ráztoka. The Ráztocká valley is the perfect location for families with children and occasional tourists.

The spring is situated at the southern end of the Konská village, by the creek, below the road. You can take the spring water straight from a fountain located in a wooden shelter. The water is slightly rusty-coloured, it has sour taste and is favourite mainly with the locals.
