Dominantou lokality Háj-Nicovô je vojenský pamätník a cintorín Háj-Nicovô. Areál piety tvoria cintorín a pamätník padlým, hlavne počas jari 1945. Toto miesto by malo ostať symbolom patriotizmu, ktorý sa postavil na odpor fašizmu aj za cenu vlastnej krvi. Práve na mieste tohto pietneho areálu sa koncom 2. svetovej vojny odohrávali jedny z najťažších a najdlhších bojov. Môžeme ich prirovnať k tým na Dukle.
