The village of Bešeňová is one of the few precious places with occurrence of "freshwater" limestone, so-called travertine. These precious calcite forms arised thanks to mineral contents of water, its temperature and, of course, the surface and structure of the landscape. If you have some free time, come and visit this "forsaken" pit situated to the north of the village.

Church Tower of Virgin Mary stands in the place where the walls of one of the oldest Liptov Christian temples have protected the information about the surrounding events for centuries. Their course, contexts and consequences significantly affected the life of the medieval Liptov region.

You can find it just around the corner from the main entrance, where you can lock your electric bicycle in the stand and go, for example, to swim or refresh yourself while it is charging. The visitor information centre of the Lúčky village (located next to the building of the municipality) provides information on trips to the neighbourhood of Lúčky as well as leaflets about tourist attractions in Lúčky, the Ružomberok and Liptovský Mikuláš districts and the regions of Liptov and Orava. It also gives information on nearby caves, water parks, cycle paths and provides leaflets about the nature for kids and adults.
