The narrow gauge railroad Korytnička was one of the major and productive transport possibilities of its time. It connected Ružomberok town with the famous Korytnica Spa. A locomotive at the railway station in Ružomberok is a memorial of its scratched glory.

The Mausoleum of Andrej Hlinka is located in Ružomberok, directly under St. Andrew church and it is one of the most significant cultural and architectural dominant features of Ružomberok. It is a national cultural monument.

The gallery building was built with the purpose of the preservation and presentation of the art work donated by artist Ľudovít Fulla to the Czechoslovak state.
