The water is used to treat stomach and duodenum diseases, intestinal diseases, the diseases of liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts. It has beneficial effects in treating inflammatory diseases of the small and large intestine and recovering from the resection of these organs. It is also efficient in treating the metabolism disorder of diabetes. There is the Korytnica mineral water fountain in the vicinity of the former spa. The former Spa has been in disrepair for decades and its beauty is fading away. There is the strange atmosphere of the former glory of once the most famous spa in Liptov.
