Mt. Chopok in the Low Tatras is changed in the summer from a ski resort into a hiking peak.

“Kamenná chata ” is the third highest located alpine cottage (following the cottages Rysy and Téry in the High Tatras) located at an altitude of 2,000 m on the main ridge of the Low Tatra Mountains, just beneath the peak of Chopok.
