Welcome to our original sheepfold Landscape of a castle in the picturesque surroundings of the beautiful nature of the lower Liptov . Salas was based on farming 1,000 sheep in 1983 and we have retained its original character and time-proven tradition of Cattle.

You too can be part of this unique atmosphere of old shepherds and herdsmen, because you can see close up sheep farming, including grazing, milking and processing of sheep’s milk using traditional hand methods. We do not use any preservatives , which is nowadays very rare.

When sitting in the idyllic alpine hut you can taste all the products and buy them. The restaurant will offer the best specialties of its own production as Bryndzová soup , fried goat cheese , lamb stew …
